Our focus has been on delivering safe, good quality produce, at the right price for our brand. We have also implemented a no-air-freight policy for all ingredients including fresh fruit and vegetables.
We work with specialist family businesses who supply the top restaurants in NYC and London. With our international menu, we need the best products the markets can provide. We have chosen suppliers whom we believe are the best to work with, and both operate to the highest standards, and are working hard to maximise the sourcing of the lowest impact products, sourced as locally as possible when in season.
Our work has shown us that sometimes local isn't best. Spanish tomatoes work well in our soups, and have the lowest embedded carbon, so when they're available we buy those.
The growers take pride in producing the highest quality crops and ensure their products reach customers in the optimum condition. We work with people who have high standards, who like their produce, like their farmers and therefore we like them.
